Συναγερμός σήμανε στις Αρχές του Τέξας, καθώς σημειώθηκαν πυροβολισμοί σε δημοτικό σχολείο, με συνέπεια τον θάνατο 14 παιδιών και μίας δασκάλας.
Σύμφωνα με αναφορές αμερικανικών ΜΜΕ, οι νεκροί είναι 15, μία δασκάλα και 14 μαθητές σε δημοτικό σχολείο της κοινότητας Ουβάλντε, στο Τέξας των ΗΠΑ, όπως ανακοίνωσε ο κυβερνήτης της πολιτείας.
Η κοινότητα Ουβάλντε βρίσκεται περίπου 130 χιλιόμετρα δυτικά του Σαν Αντόνιο

NewsRoom| A mass shooting allegedly took place at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, United States, according to BNO News quoting the TV channel ABC News. The latter claims that ‘14 people have been killed in the shooting’. However, the information has not been yet confirmed by officials. ABC News adds that at least 2 children died during the event, and more than a dozen have been injured. The suspect was later taken into custody around 1 P.M (Texas time). At 10.45 P.M. (Paris time) BNO News announced on its Twitter account that ’16 people have been killed, including 14 children and 1 teacher’ according to the governor. The suspect is now deceased.
Uvalde CISD announced on its Facebook page that ‘all district and campus activities, after-school programs, and events are cancelled’. ‘Parents are asked to pick up students at the regular dismissal times at the child’s campus’ the school added. CNN TV channel added earlier this evening that the shooter was 18 years old. The New York Times reported in the evening that the gunman ‘shot and killed horrifically, incomprehensibly, 14 students and killed a teacher’, Gov. Greg Abott of Texas said in a news conference.
A mother on the school’s Facebook page said that ‘my best friend said her cousins called her crying because they heard gunshots’. ‘My nephew said they are all in their classrooms in the corner with doors barricaded’ she added.
